The countdown has finally begun for the Kids’ Choirs’ Christmas Celebration on Sat. Dec. 3, at 4:00 and 6:30PM. God’s Kids (1st through 3rd graders) will open each service with a selection of songs and narrations, and Kids of the Kingdom (3rd through 8th graders) will close the service with their musical, Candy Cane Lane. The musical teaches us that God alone can satisfy our hungry hearts. Candy Cane Jane leads Marsha, Mark, and Mindy through the Soul Food Forest to Miss Ginger’s gingerbread house to learn the recipe for life. They even go for a ride on Casey’s train to learn how to grow. Other highlights include the story of the Christmas candy cane and its unique witness during the season, and a heart-warming testimony of “Let’s Light a Candle” with “Away in a Manger”. This cheerful musical for children contains an important message for all. You won’t want to miss it.
