Missions Moment – Central America

Paul and Janie Hutton, Missions Door

Thank you so much for praying.

I arrived home from Honduras early Sunday morning after a good trip.  Our president Rick Miller couldn’t have given a more clear explanation of the processes that have taken place to transfer our ministries in Honduras from the US mission to two separate indigenous missions that meet the government’s requirements to have nationals on the boards of directors.

Our meetings gave us the opportunity to bring together our key leaders from around the country along with our Central America director Rigoberto Reyes.  There was good fellowship, but smoothing out the wrinkles and transferring hundreds of churches to the new missions is just a lot of hard work.  Please pray for this transition and for our missionaries as they work out the inevitable glitches.

Thank you again so much for praying.  Now we have the joy of heading west for a family reunion with our son and family from Ohio, and our daughter and family home for furlough from Senegal.
