Divorce Care

Bridges Community Church is offering a weekly Divorce Care group designed to help you work through the emotional pain of separation or divorce. Our spring 2022 session of Divorce Care has ended, so please check back for details on our next session.

Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You are welcome to join our group regardless of where you are in the process of your separation or divorce.

Divorce Care is led by leaders who understand what you are going through and have healed from the impact of divorce and can minister to those who have just completed or still are going through this journey. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Divorce Care has three distinct elements: a video seminar with experts, a workbook, and a support group with focus.

A Video Seminar with Experts

During the first 40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, and on-location video.

Workbook

A workbook is available which supports the DivorceCare topics that are discussed in each weekly video seminar. It is an essential part of the DivorceCare program.

A Support Group with Focus

After viewing a video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.
