A couple times a year our Los Altos Christian Schools kids and families have the opportunity to spend a few hours personally with a teacher, coach, or staff member. Our kids respond to this opportunity with eager excitement. The thought of spending time with someone they respect and enjoy is viewed as a privilege. An honor.

Just imagine if the opportunity came your way to spend time with an angel. Believe it or not, it could happen. That’s what the writer of Hebrews said. “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”

Unlikely to happen, you say? That’s true. Especially if you don’t show hospitality to strangers. And you’d miss out on the joy that could have been yours if you eagerly practiced hospitality. How Abraham and Sarah discovered that joy will be the focus of today’s message.
