Bulletin Notes

History is paved with the names of people who are familiar to us for their heroic exploits or extraordinary achievements. We are indebted to many of them for their leadership and significant contributions.

But there are also others whose names and faces, while equally deserving of our attention and admiration, are the forgotten heroes, the “nobodies” who paved the way for the “somebodies.” Few people know and remember these individuals, but their contributions are invaluable. They are the “willing unknowns,” and it is to them that we turn our attention this morning.
