Every day throughout our lifetime we have hundreds of opportunities to build others up. A kind word, an unexpected deed, a common courtesy, even a simple smile can reap benefits in the lives of those with whom we come in contact.

The Apostle Paul was big on building others up. It was a recurring theme in his writings and in the way he lived. He truly wanted to see everyone—both within and outside the church—become all that God intended for them to be.

Last words often carry immense importance. Today we’ll see some of the last words Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica in his first letter to them. Words that focus on the “how” of building others up.
