We’d rather not admit that we’re messed up, but we need to. In fact, we need to do more than just admit we have issues. We need to take corrective action.

That was Paul’s take on the charge he gave Timothy. The first church in Ephesus needed to deal with some of their own who were messed up. And if things had continued on the same path, the whole church could have become infected. So Paul spoke up.

Today we will look at what Paul had to say to them… and to us. Because we also have issues—in our own lives and in the church—that we need to deal with.
