Some groups are meeting online via Zoom, so please check HERE for the most updated information on group meeting times and locations.
Why join a Life Group?
It’s simple. Life’s a journey. The happiest people walk the road with others. You can find your own traveling companions in a Life Group.
What happens in a Life Group?
People just like you come together each week in a relaxed setting to share their lives, their insights into the Bible, and their gifts and talents for serving Jesus Christ.
Do I need to sign up for Life Group?
No. Just start attending any Life Group you like.
Some of our BCC groups are meeting in person, and some are using online video conferencing tools to “meet” virtually. For more information or access to any of the online groups, email Liliya in the BCC office: liliya@bridges.church.
LIFE GROUPS:
Reflections: Adults
On Sundays in Room 522 at 9:15AM (and online)
We enjoy weekly fellowship, Bible study, and prayer support. We also plan socials and/or service projects routinely. Come join us. All are welcome!
Deeper Roots: Parents of Elementary Through College Students
On Sundays in the Family Center Room 521, 9:30AM
We are a community that enjoys doing life together. We encourage one another, have fun together, and strive to deepen our relationships with each other and God.
We have teaching from God’s Word on topics relevant to our phase of life, small groups, sharing, and prayer. We also have frequent social events and community service projects.
The Gathering: All Life Stages, Ages 30s-40s
On Sundays, 9:30AM
Room 513 (on the bottom floor of the Family Center, next to the Nursery)
We are a group from all walks of life spanning a range of professions, life stages (single, married, married with child[ren], divorced), and ages (30s-40s). We desire to navigate life’s ups and downs together, learn from one another, and grow into the people God has called us to become. Currently we meet on the 1st & 3rd Sundays for Bible study, and on the 2nd & 4th Sundays we serve in other ministries on campus or gather informally for fellowship. One Saturday a month we also gather at a local park/home for fellowship over lunch.
Eagles Wings: Married or Single, Age 50-60+, with Kids College Age+
On Sundays in Room 221, 9:30AM
We study God’s word, enjoy service projects, monthly socials, small group fellowship where we share praises and prayer requests and great Sunday morning refreshments. Service projects vary depending on current needs and opportunities. Monthly socials include outdoor activities such as hiking, game nights, parties with different themes and an annual Christmas party.
Common Need
On Sundays in The Zone (Room 516), 9:30AM
Do you have any struggles in life due to the NEED of understanding God’s will in the scriptures? The NEED of support to keep one another encouraged on the narrow path? The NEED of serving others as a family? The NEED of getting along with your children, your spouse, your in-laws, co-workers? The NEED to discern right from wrongs with many issues in the world? The NEED of friendship in sharing a good meal with one another? Come check out our village at Common Need Life Group. All ages welcome.
Mariners: Ages 60+
On Sundays in Room 525, 9:30AM
Mariners are a very active, friendly, young-minded, and cohesive adult Life Group (many with adult children) who enjoy fellowship together, sharing each others joys, victories, and needs and giving encouragement and support to each other through prayer and care. We enjoy the study and discussion of God’s Word. We also stay connected and contribute toward the support of our selected missionaries and various outreach projects.
Mariners annually plan fun and exciting social events which draw us closer together.
New people always welcome!
Common Ground: All ages
On Sundays in Room 211, 9:30AM *combined with Ambassadors*
Common Ground welcomes any (and all!) age groups, couples, and singles. Through Scripture, prayer, lively interactive discussion, and with hearts for God, this class shares its many points-of-view, always seeking to discern the will, the grace, and the love of God.
Ambassadors: Ages 70+
On Sundays in Room 211, 9:30AM *combined with Common Ground*
The Ambassadors Life Group is the church’s senior life group, ages from mid 70’s and up to mid 90’s. Our efforts are to support each other and to support some seven missionaries or groups. We usually join with the Common Ground Life Group under strong teachers, including great discussions of the biblical materials presented. Together once a month we share in singing hymns from the church hymnal.
Alpha Kara: Married, Married again, and Single Adults Age 60+
On Sundays in Room 220, 9:30AM
Our meetings are very informal. We’re just a group of friends who love hearing each week what God has been doing the past week in our lives. We sit in a circle, laugh and pray for each other, for our church and for others. We spend time discussing that morning’s sermon and applying its truths to our lives. We look forward to welcoming you to a time of fun and spiritual growth each Sunday.
Harvesters: Ages 60+
On Sundays in Room 524, 9:30AM
We are an active, friendly group of seniors who enjoy fellowship and social events which usually include lots of good food. Good Bible teaching is one of our core focuses. We also focus on member needs and support one another with praises and prayers. We stay connected to the needs of our missionaries and give financial support for various projects.
Anew: Adult singles and single again, ages 35+
4th Saturday every month (unless otherwise announced), 5:30-7:30pm
Student Ministry Center
Through workshops, presentations, and discussions, we hope to share healthy relationship principles as singles and single households. At times we may hold celebrations or enjoy outdoor and recreational activities. Through this regular fellowship, we intend to build a safe place for support and growth as singles navigate through stages of individual and family life. Our principles are based on the values and love of Christ Jesus, and we welcome everyone whether or not you’re a Christian. We also welcome those who attend another home church.
