Who: those who have lost a spouse in death. We welcome all ages of men and women from all walks of life.

Purpose: to be a Christ centered group to help support each other as we walk through the different phases of grief and loss of a spouse through death.

Why: to find fellowship, understanding, comfort and encouragement among those who walk the same journey in grief and loss.

What We Are About: Like minded in purpose to encourage each other as we face trials, challenges and changes of all kinds during this ‘New Season of Life’. We encourage each other with meaningful devotions, Christian literature, genuine friendship and help them move forward one step at a time.

Grief Share Support Ministry

At Bridges Community Church, Los Altos
Meeting since 2011

Purpose: Grief Share is a network of thousands of grief recovery support groups meting around the world. The goal is to help others who are grieving the loss of a loved one (Note: this is not spouse only.)

Who: those who have lost a parent, grandparent, sibling, close friend or relative, spouse. We welcome all ages. There is a short series to help children dealing with loss as well. We are supported by BCC, Los Altos. Attendees have included members of BCC, friends and neighbors recommended by BCC members, responses from newspaper ads. It is a great outreach ministry to those who are walking the new and difficult path that God has laid out in front of them.

Why: to provide hope and healing based on biblical teaching.
