Dear BCC Family:
As many places across the country and the state of California have either already reopened or are in the very early stages of making plans to reopen at some point in the near future, we know that you likely have questions related to what you can expect from BCC in the months ahead.
In short, while many of us look forward to the day when we can all gather back together again, we have no concrete date yet for when BCC will be able to meet at the church again. Therefore, our immediate plan is to continue to invest significant time and resources to deliver a high-quality online worship experience for our primary corporate gathering each week, as well as to provide resources and weekly opportunities to meet together online in smaller groups for prayer and Bible study. At the same time, we are closely monitoring the latest information from local, state, and federal authorities to ensure that we are properly equipped and trained to be able to address the many different complexities involved in reopening when that time comes.
We want to assure you that our number one priority in approaching this topic of reopening is to provide the safest possible gathering for our membership, staff, and community. In being slow to gather again, we hope to communicate to you and to our community that we love you.
Never forget that the light of the gospel continues to shine. At this moment in which so many are experiencing deep fear and anxiety, we are grateful to have the opportunity every day to offer comfort and hope to those around us who are hurting. Moreover, we want you to know that we see the Lord working through your prayers, your generous financial giving, your patience, and your words of encouragement. Witnessing your faithfulness and commitment only makes us more eager to gather again as a church family! We love and miss seeing each of you.
Would you please take a moment to complete a brief survey? Your input is valuable and will help us as we continue to pray and to actively discuss these important matters in the coming days. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Please complete by Friday, May 29. To take the survey, Click HERE.
Grace and peace to you from the BCC Elders & Pastors.
