Alba joined the staff in 2015 as Director of Children Ministries at BCC, and transitioned into the role of Director of Family & Children’s Ministries in 2021. She previously served as the Director of Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Church of San Mateo for over 7 years and prior to that, she taught elementary school. Alba received her BA in English Literature from Cal State Hayward and her teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, Ca.

Alba and her husband, Dave, have been married for over twenty years and have two sons: Clayton and Deacon. As a family they enjoy going on adventures together like exploring the narrows in Utah and finding new trails to hike.

Alba and her family are committed to serve God wherever and whenever He calls them.
