Jeanne Bates

Jeanne and her husband, Allen, met through their matchmaker, Nancy Wildanger, in 2013 and were married in 2014. Allen and Jeanne have been members of Bridges Community Church for many years, dating back to when it was called First Baptist Church of Los Altos. Jeanne has served in the Children’s Ministry at Bridges, teaching 1st grade Sunday School. She also sings in the Bridges choir and is a facilitator for DivorceCare. Jeanne teaches first grade Language Arts at Pinewood School and teaches private piano lessons.

Allen and Jeanne have five bonus children, who are now all married. They have eight grandchildren, whom they love and enjoy immensely! Jeanne is also passionate about music, walking, hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mentoring youth, giving back to the community, going on adventures with her family and friends, and traveling the country and the world with her beloved husband, Allen.
