John Yue

John has been a member of Bridges Community Church since 1984. He has been active in the church orchestra, served as Life Group officer, and volunteers as part time Adult Sunday School teacher. John has a passion for evangelism and reaching out to the un-churched. Currently, he is the committee chairman of the local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Silicon Valley. He is an officer of Reasons to Believe San Jose Chapter, a science-faith based organization. He has also served on the board of the Los Altos Christian Schools for many years.

John is married to Yao-Eng and has four adult children (three are married) and five grandchildren. John immigrated to U.S. at the age of 9 from Taiwan. He is a retired semiconductor industry veteran after 37 years. He holds a Ph.D. & Masters in physics from Stanford University, a B.S. in physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MBA in Finance from SMU.
