Women’s Ministries

Midweek Bible Studies

We are currently on break! Check back for our resume date, TBD.

Women are invited to a Max Lucado study on Ten Women of the Bible, organized by Beth Stockum and Shannon Durand. The study looks at how God used these remarkable women in the unfolding of His story, even though they were often marginalized or overlooked in their culture. Gather with women from all generations, discuss Scripture, and get to know one another better. For more information, contact Beth Stockum: bethstockum@yahoo.com.

Join us for a study entitled People of the Promise: Exile and Return – A Time to Build, held in person on the Bridges campus. We meet upstairs in the Family Center. Register via join.bsfinternational.org.

We’re now on break for the summer! Join us when we resume in September.

Join us on Wednesdays during the school year as we read and discuss a book based on stories and topics from the Bible. Questions? Contact Kay Tokar (408-857-9409), Robbi Rosowski (408-379-6144), or Nancy Hastain (tnhastain@aol.com).

Grow with us as we explore a study of Proverbs. Questions? Contact Daryl Winslow (408-313-5609) or bccsisters@bridges.church.

We meet routinely to seek Scripture to address real life challenges, concerns, and situations. For more info contact Sujana Panthulu: sujana.panthulu@gmail.com.

Women’s Arts & Crafts Social on May 24 – Loom Knitting

*May’s meeting will be on 5/24 instead of 5/31*

Women of all ages are invited to an Arts & Crafts Social on Sun., May 24 (not our usual last Sunday of the month) in the Family Center Room 524. Kitty Shih will teach us how to use a round knitting loom to make a cute kitty—a beginner loom knitting project. Make it for yourself, as a gift, or to donate to a child (such as Operation Christmas Child). Instruction will start right at 1:00pm. Come watch or be ready to make the cute kitty by bringing a 24-peg round knitting loom set. (The kit should include a round 24-peg loom, crochet hook, and yarn needle, and can be purchased for about $8 at Amazon.com—may not be available in local craft stores.) Loom knitting can also make hats, scarves, and other items. RSVP by May 20 to esszeto@yahoo.com or text/call (408) 504-7229.  As always, feel free to bring your own craft project or just come to enjoy the fellowship and be inspired to start a new hobby.  Bringing snacks to share is optional.
