BCC groups

It’s simple. Life’s a journey. The happiest people walk the road with others. You can find your own traveling companions in a Life Group.

People just like you come together each week in a relaxed setting to share their lives, their insights into the Bible, and their gifts and talents for serving Jesus Christ.

BCC GROUPS:

Common Ground welcomes any (and all!) age groups, couples, and singles. Through Scripture, prayer, lively interactive discussion, and with hearts for God, this class shares its many points-of-view, always seeking to discern the will, the grace, and the love of God.

The Common Need Life Group was originally created to bring together people (age ~50’s) who are Bay Area transplants and are learning to get by without the strong support networks they used to enjoy back home. Even though we come from different ethnic backgrounds, we share the same love for our God, our family and our brothers and sisters in Christ; hence the common need of love.  We strive to support one another by practicing Christianity through various activities: Bible studies, fellowship, and various social activities.  We are here to support our brothers and sisters by applying God’s words and celebrate life together with Christ in good and bad times.

We are a community of parents of elementary through college students, and we enjoy doing life together. We encourage one another, have fun together, and strive to deepen our relationships with each other and God.

We have teaching from God’s Word on topics relevant to our phase of life, small groups, sharing, and prayer. We also have frequent social events and community service projects.

We are a group of people aged 50+, married or single, that studies God’s word and enjoys service projects, monthly socials, small group fellowship where we share praises and prayer requests and great Sunday morning refreshments. Service projects vary depending on current needs and opportunities. Monthly socials include outdoor activities such as hiking, game nights, parties with different themes and an annual Christmas party.

We’re a group of young professionals from all walks of life spanning a range of professions, life stages (single, married, married with child(ren), divorced), and ages (30s-40s). Join us for Bible study and prayer.

The Reflections Life Group is a community of adult believers, both couples and singles, who seek to honor the Lord and grow together as a class in faith, love, and unity. We meet every Sunday for Bible teaching, hymn sing, prayer, and fellowship. During good and difficult times, class members pray earnestly for one another. Donations from the class are made to various missionaries and mission groups. Different members of the class are involved in para-church organizations such as Christ Care Ministries International (CCMI), Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), Answers in Genesis, Gideons, and bell ringing for the Salvation Army. Outside of Sunday morning, class members meet for socials including quarterly lunches, classic movies, game nights, trips to Mount Hermon and Gizdich Ranch. Come and join us as we grow in the Word of God together and joyfully endeavor to be reflections of Jesus, our Savior and our Lord!

Our meetings are very informal. We’re just a group of friends (married, married again, and single adults, age 60+) who love hearing each week what God has been doing the past week in our lives. We sit in a circle, laugh and pray for each other, for our church and for others. We look forward to welcoming you to a time of fun and spiritual growth each Sunday.

We are an active, friendly group of seniors who enjoy fellowship and social events which usually include lots of good food. Good Bible teaching is one of our core focuses. We also focus on member needs and support one another with praises and prayers. We stay connected to the needs of our missionaries and give financial support for various projects.

Mariners are a very active, friendly, young-minded, and cohesive adult Life Group (ages 60+, many with adult children) who enjoy fellowship together, sharing each others joys, victories, and needs and giving encouragement and support to each other through prayer and care. We enjoy the study and discussion of God’s Word. We also stay connected and contribute toward the support of our selected missionaries and various outreach projects.

Mariners annually plan fun and exciting social events which draw us closer together.

New people always welcome!

Thrive is a group of young professionals (some of us not so “professional”) from all walks of life spanning a range of professions, life stages (single, married, married with child(ren), divorced), and ages (20s and beyond). Thrive is a place to build a relationship with Jesus and experience authentic Gospel-centered community. We desire to navigate life’s ups and downs together, learn from one another, and grow into the people God has called us to become. Be yourself, grow, make real friends, and impact the world for God.

Our Circle of Friends women’s Bible study meets weekly to read and discuss a book that analyzes a section of the Bible. All adult women are welcome!

Our Bridges family prays together every week at three different times. We’d love to have you join us, even if you can only get away from other things for a few minutes. When we come before God’s throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need, God hears our prayers and always answers.

We invite you to join any of our prayer groups:

  • Wednesdays at 12:00pm on Zoom, HERE. The passcode is: Prayer.
  • Wednesdays at 7:00pm on Zoom, HERE. The passcode is: Prayer.
  • Sundays, 8:30-9:15am, in Room 116 on the Bridges campus (on the back side of the Worship Center).

Our Into the Deep women’s Bible study meets weekly to read and discuss a topical book on a relevant Christian theme. All adult women are welcome!

All singles and single again over age 35 are invited to our monthly fellowship. Through workshops, presentations, and discussions, we hope to share healthy relationship principles as singles and single households, and build a safe place for support and growth as singles navigate through stages of individual and family life. Join us at Bridges on the 4th Saturday every month (unless otherwise announced), 5:30-7:30pm. This gathering is free!
