What is Compassion Sunday?
Compassion Sunday is an opportunity for the church to focus on expanding our understanding of God’s compassionate heart for all people and to be reminded of every believer’s responsibility to follow Jesus’ example by loving and serving our neighbors and meeting the practical physical and spiritual needs of the hurting and needy around us.
Compassion Sunday — November 5
Bridges has invited Keivan Tehrani, Global Compassion Pastor at Westgate Church in San Jose, as our guest speaker at this year’s Compassion Sunday on Nov. 5. Join us as Keivan will challenge us from God’s Word in the morning Worship Service. After the worship service, we will host a luncheon at which Keivan will discuss his ministry to Afghan Refugees in the Bay Area and how to get involved in this important work.
