Taste and See

Series: TASTE AND SEE

Steve Durand - Aug 16, 2015

When the cancer is in remission, we say, “God is good.” And when the pay raise comes, or when the university admits us, or when things work out in our favor, we announce, “God is good.” But would we say the same thing under different circumstances? In the cemetery as well as the nursery? Whether we’re gainfully employed or out of work? In days of recession as much in days of provision?

Is God always good? How should we define good? If we call God good when things go right, does it mean He’s not good or not all-powerful when things go wrong? This week’s message will explore what the Scriptures have to say about these questions as they relate to the subject of God’s goodness.
