The Myth of Private Religion - Luke 11:33-36
All right, it’s time we had a talk about religious privacy. You know, the thought that religion is a good thing—as long as it remains private.
You’ve probably had a conversation or two, or 200, with people who have religious beliefs of some kind but vow never to talk about them with others. They say that spiritual beliefs are a private thing.
Kind of like politics…something that should not be discussed in polite conversation.
Are you interested in what Jesus had to say about sharing religious beliefs? His thoughts on religious privacy? He had a few things to say about this potentially explosive topic which will be our message focus as we continue learning from The Stories Jesus Told.

Prayer. Simple enough for a child, yet necessary for all of us, Jesus’ followers requested, “Teach us Lord, to pray.”
Whether you’ve never prayed or you have daily conversations with God, Jesus’ response gives assurance all of our prayers are vital, welcomed, and answered.
