Learn to Say No

Are you good at saying no? No to another piece of See's candy? No to hanging out with your friends so you can do homework instead? No to another charge on your credit card? No to driving faster than the speed limit? No to reading that text or answering your phone while you're driving?

Your ability, or inability, to say no says a lot about who you are and who you’re becoming. In fact, it affects what you do or don’t do, which can have a huge impact on the direction your life will take.

This Sunday’s message is focused on some must knows for saying no. Three principles from God's Word that can help us all do better at knowing when to say no.

From Series: "Finding Balance"

This Week's Sermon: "Getting Off The Grid"

This week we finish our Finding Balance series - but not really. Though the message series will be over, finding balance will be a lifelong challenge. One worthy of our best efforts and unceasing dependence on God.

Jesus lived in perfect balance. Even when His life was chaotic, demanding, and depleting. When there were still so many needs to be met. He knew the importance of finding balance.

How Jesus responded in the midst of the pressures of life is as applicable today as it was then. This Sunday we'll see why, as we focus on a final matter that can give us help for living with the balance we need.
