We Need Each Other
Most of us would agree that community is important. But few of us – especially in our driven, consumerist Silicon Valley – are willing to make the effort or sacrifice that true community (as God defines it) requires. We’re all busy. We all have things to do. At the same time, we all want life-giving, strong relationships. So why then, when it comes down to it, do we so often find the necessary steps toward community taking a back seat in our lives?
This Sunday we continue our “Finding Balance” series to see why it’s not only important to invest in true Christian community, it’s vital.
From Series: "Finding Balance"
This Week's Sermon: "Getting Off The Grid"
This week we finish our Finding Balance series - but not really. Though the message series will be over, finding balance will be a lifelong challenge. One worthy of our best efforts and unceasing dependence on God.
Jesus lived in perfect balance. Even when His life was chaotic, demanding, and depleting. When there were still so many needs to be met. He knew the importance of finding balance.
How Jesus responded in the midst of the pressures of life is as applicable today as it was then. This Sunday we'll see why, as we focus on a final matter that can give us help for living with the balance we need.
