When You Hit The Wall

You don’t have to run a marathon to hit the wall. Anyone can come up against something that makes them want to quit. To give up. To walk away from something or someone.

That's what happened to the early Christians who James wrote his letter to. They evidently had hit the wall. They had had enough. They were considering giving up. Their patience and perseverance were just about at their limits.

Sound familiar? If you can relate, you’re not alone. That’s why this Sunday's message from the book of James is as relevant as it gets. Everyone needs a hope lift. And this week’s study in God’s Word can be that.

Due to a pipe burst in the Worship Center women's restroom and subsequent repairs, worship services this Sunday, August 17, will be relocated to the gym. All other ministries will function as normal. Thanks for your understanding and flexibility!

This Week's Sermon: "Supernatural Healing"

God wants to use Christ-followers to bring supernatural healing… which, is kind of a crazy thought, isn’t it? The Bible teaches that, in Christ, we have access to a healing power that is literally out of this world. The problem is we don’t often see it this way. Instead, we tend to minimalize what God is doing – or wants to do – in the lives of those around us. And as a result, we can fail to join him in some amazing work.

This week, we finish our summer series in the book of James, “Faith Does”, to see how we can effectively join God in bringing supernatural healing to those around us.
