Faith then Failure then…
Three steps forward, two steps back is an appropriate description of the Christian life. We move forward with faith for a time but inevitably experience failure when we begin doing what seems right to us, instead of trusting God and following Him.
This "on again, off again" relationship with God isn’t new. It’s been like this since the first man and woman lived on planet earth. And even after all these years, we still can’t get our act together. It’s not an excuse, it’s simply the truth.
What’s unfathomable is God’s response. If we were in His place we would have said, “I’ve had enough. I’m done with you people” a long time ago. But thankfully God is not like us. This week we’ll be taking a look at His incredible love and patience with difficult people like us, as we dig into the second week of our journey through the Bible with Bible StoryBoards.

This Weeks Sermon: "Come But Then…”
As Pastor Dave & Bernice Gudgel launch their new book Bible StoryBoards out into the world, we are using it at BCC to work our way through the Bible in a three-week series that began on Jan. 11. Between Sundays the Bible StoryBoards blog will highlight one StoryBoard each day, from the previous Sunday’s lesson. Join us for this journey at biblestoryboards.com/blog.
If you like big finishes, you're in for a treat this Sunday as we finish our Bible StoryBoards series. Incredible. Unfathomable. Amazing. Unheard of. A dream come true. All appropriate descriptions of what’s before us as we finish our journey through the Bible.
Want a hint? All of history was leading up to this. It was predicted for thousands of years. It changed everything and will change everything.
One thing is for sure – what was, and is, and is to come, is from God’s hand. And it’s all connected to God’s love. The love God has for us and the love God seeks from us.
