When You’re In a Storm
The Bible is not shy in using storms as a metaphor for facing challenging life circumstances. Storms are so rich and powerful in imagery: the waves and wind, for instance, mirror the uncertainty and intensity of our trials and suffering.
Last week we started our final series in the book of Acts, “Unstoppable”, and saw HOW we can follow God in the midst of challenging circumstances. But this week, as we come to the great storm the Apostle Paul found himself in, we will consider WHY we can trust God when we’re in the middle of storms of our own.

This Weeks Sermon: "When Life Takes Unexpected Turns "
Has there ever been a time in your life when you thought you knew how things would turn out, only when you got there you found things to be completely different from what you had expected? …Are you kidding? This happens all the time. Life is full of surprises. And this was no exception for the Apostle Paul. But whereas many of us are thrown by the unexpected turns life sends our way, he made the most of them. This week we will look at the final chapter in the book of Acts to consider how we too can thrive when life takes unexpected turns.
