Not to Worry

Most of us probably realize anxiety doesn’t help us. If we could shut it off, we would. The problem, of course, is we don’t know how to shut it off. We want to, but it seems to have more power over us than we have over it. In this passage, Jesus shows us both the cause of and solution to anxiety. It will cost us all we have, but it will free us more than we can imagine.

This Week's Message: Kingdom Choices Part 2

Most of us don’t enjoy being told what to do. We’d rather keep our options open, make our own decisions, and shape our own future through our own choices. If you can relate at all to that feeling, then the Bible has some very good news for you: God does give us the ability to make our own choices and to decide certain things for ourselves. However, with that freedom also comes the timeless truth that our choices always have consequences - sometimes even long-term consequences - that must be taken into account. So, as we conclude our series on the Sermon on the Mount, we’ll finish looking at the inescapable choices that God puts before every person who has ever lived, all of which have life-altering ramifications. How will you choose?
