Love of Another Kind - Luke 10:25-37

All around us are people with needs. Legitimate needs. Some are people we know, while others are strangers. Some have needs we can see, while others have needs we’ve only heard about.

Everywhere you look there are people with needs. Hurting people who need others’ help.

Of course, we could easily dismiss their needs as not our problem. We could tell ourselves that someone else would be better able to step up and help. And then again, maybe not. Maybe we actually could help. Which is why Jesus told a story about what God expects from His children when they come across someone in need.

This Week's Sermon: "The Friend at Midnight"

Prayer. Simple enough for a child, yet necessary for all of us, Jesus’ followers requested, “Teach us Lord, to pray.”

Whether you’ve never prayed or you have daily conversations with God, Jesus’ response gives assurance all of our prayers are vital, welcomed, and answered.
