How Prayer Changes the World - 1 Timothy 2:1-8

Think Biblically

Our culture says that you can believe whatever you want...just as long as you don’t impose your beliefs on others. This sentiment is especially true when it comes to spiritual beliefs, which can make it highly uncomfortable for us as Christ-followers to share with others that there is only one path to heaven and only one way to be made right with God: through Jesus (Acts 4:12).

Nevertheless, even though our message is exclusive, our Christian witness should not be. The absolute and exclusive claims of the gospel message are to be made known to everyone, because God’s desire is for all people to come to know Him. And God wants and calls you to be part of helping those in your life, and even those around the world whom you may never meet, to know about this message of salvation through Jesus.

So, as a follower of Christ, what should you do? How can one person make a difference? And what if you’re an introvert? Where are you supposed to start?

Today’s message reminds us that the first step to changing the world is much easier than you might think.

This Week's Sermon: "Warning to the Secure"

Does it matter what we believe? If so, does it only matter initially or do we need to continue in certain beliefs? If we don’t continue with our beliefs, what are the consequences?

In this week's message, we will look at a text where an established Christian leader is warned not to wander from his faith.
