Who, Not What - 1 Timothy 3:14-16

Think Biblically

Church, like many words, means different things to different people. Some think of a building. Others might think of a particular denomination, a recognizable pastor on TV, or perhaps something else entirely.

But even if you were able to get a group of people to agree upon one common definition of church, the next challenge is to see if you can get everyone on the same page on other related and relevant questions: What is the purpose of the church? Why go to church? Does the church actually matter?

These questions are far more complex—and certainly more divisive—than you might think. And when you add in the myriad ways in which the culture influences and shapes much of Christianity today, these questions are more pressing than ever. Thankfully, God’s Word has the answers.

This Week's Sermon: "Warning to the Secure"

Does it matter what we believe? If so, does it only matter initially or do we need to continue in certain beliefs? If we don’t continue with our beliefs, what are the consequences?

In this week's message, we will look at a text where an established Christian leader is warned not to wander from his faith.
