Worth Your Best Effort - 1 Timothy 4:9-16

Some things in life are too important for half-hearted effort. Doing things without much effort or without much interest in school, on the job, or in your home will most likely keep you from reaching your God-given potential; and therefore from seeing your life have maximum spiritual impact.

There are a lot of things in life that call for our best efforts. Academic pursuits, family life, diet and exercise, a chosen career, and even a hobby. The matter we come to this week in our continuing series in 1 Timothy might be off the radar of many, which is sad, because today’s focus is worth our best efforts.

That includes all of us. Everyone together giving their best for the sake of a matter that everyone should care deeply about.

This Week's Sermon: "Warning to the Secure"

Does it matter what we believe? If so, does it only matter initially or do we need to continue in certain beliefs? If we don’t continue with our beliefs, what are the consequences?

In this week's message, we will look at a text where an established Christian leader is warned not to wander from his faith.
