What Do You Want? - 1 Timothy 6:6-10

Think Biblically

Today in our continuing message series in the book of 1 Timothy, we’ll be considering a question that everyone would do well to ask: What do you really want out of life?

The number of things that a person could have on their “want” list could go on and on: good health, meaning, happiness, a home of your own, a dream vacation, a spouse, a couple kids, a new job, good friends, money… You get the idea.

How about just the basics? You know, like food and clothing. Would you be content with that? Would that satisfy you? Would that fill your heart with what your heart longs for? And if it wouldn’t, is it wrong to want more? That’s what we’ll be looking at today.

This Week's Sermon: "Warning to the Secure"

Does it matter what we believe? If so, does it only matter initially or do we need to continue in certain beliefs? If we don’t continue with our beliefs, what are the consequences?

In this week's message, we will look at a text where an established Christian leader is warned not to wander from his faith.
