Coronation of the King

When a new king is crowned, we expect a certain amount of ceremony and celebration. There are festivities of all sorts as the people anticipate a bright new future. But when Jesus approaches Jerusalem for the final time, we see His coronation is far from normal. Once again, Jesus turns all of our expectations upside down…and then surpasses them.
