The Lake of Fire

Future Hope

Nearly all of us have heard of hell. We’ve seen depictions of it in movies or works of art, and we’ve heard other people reference it either casually or zealously in conversation. For many of us, we’d like to abandon the idea of hell altogether. We can’t see how it fits with an all-loving God, so we doubt or reject its existence. But Scripture won’t let us do that. The Bible, and Jesus Himself, teach about the reality of hell. This week, we’ll talk about it. What is hell, how long does it last, and maybe even how can it display God’s love for us?

This Week's Sermon: "Responding to Your Questions"

Everyone has questions, and this Sunday Pastors Dave, Steve, and Dan will be responding to ours. Sometimes the best learnings come from biblical answers to relevant questions. Much of Jesus' teaching was in response to people's questions. Questions like: What must I do to inherit eternal life? Who is my neighbor? Are you the King of the Jews? What will be the sign of your coming? After our summer-long Future Hope message series, you may already have a good answer to that last question. But if not, hopefully you will after this Sunday's special Q & A message.
