Look Up

Awesome! Many of us use that word from time to time. And when you think about the word itself, it makes sense that we usually use it to describe something we're really excited about. Something awe-inspiring. Astonishing. Mind-boggling. A jaw-dropping accomplishment, performance, or outcome. Something totally unexpected.

We're often astonished by something we did or someone else did. But can you think of the last time you were astonished because God showed up and did what no one expected and the results were... well…astonishing?

There’s a reason awesome, astonishing things happen. We'll be talking about that reason this Sunday. And Lord willing our time together focused on this subject will result in frequent astonishing works of God that blow our minds.

This Week: "Look Out"

Look around. What do you see? Do you see a field white and ready for harvest? Jesus did. Shouldn’t we see the same and then act on what we see?

When the first Christians started to see like Jesus saw, the impact in Jerusalem was huge. Everywhere they went they talked about Jesus. Soon their hometown was filled with the Gospel of hope. And thousands, having heard the good news, were saved.

Wouldn’t it be great if the same were to happen here in the Silicon Valley? It hasn’t happened yet, but it could. The chances of that happening are greatly increased if we have what the first followers did. And that is what our focus will be this coming Sunday.
