Good, Good, Good

The more you live, the more you lose. Something that was good—a relationship, a season, an outlook—is gone. It stabs you with nostalgia only to remind you that you that no longer have it. Plus, the possibilities for future loss seem endless. Something cries within us, “It’s not supposed to be this way!” Jesus, as the good shepherd, knows of a different way. In John 10, he speaks to the hearts of those of us who have suffered loss or fear suffering loss.
