Yours For The Taking

Are you good at taking hold of whatever life gives you? At getting the most out of whatever comes your way? If you are, you’re a rare person.

Most people who have smart phones or tablets are content with the basics. But the ones who want to benefit the most from their techie gadgets take the time to dig in and discover every feature they can. Not simply for the sake of knowing, but so they can get the most out of their investment.

When it comes to the Christian life, the book of Philippians says a lot about “taking hold” of all a relationship with the Lord offers. In Paul's letter he tells the Philippians (and us) to make the most of this life. Our study about this topic this week can be a great benefit to all of us.

This Weeks Sermon: "One Of The Hardest Things To Learn”

Learning is what we do – especially here in the Silicon Valley. We’re committed to lifelong learning.

Of course some things are harder to learn than others. Things like: how to say no; how to live on a budget; how to work through relational conflict in a healthy way. And of course how to lose weight and keep it off.

Every one of those learnings is hard, but perhaps not as hard as the learning we will be focused on at Bridges this Sunday. This week we bring our message series in Philippians to a close as we look at a passage that has huge ramifications about how we think, feel, spend, live, and more. It’s a learning worth learning. Come and discover for yourself the difference it could make in your life.
