How Much is Too Much?

Faith Does

Printed across the back of a dollar bill are the words, "In God We Trust." But is that motto really true? For many of us, we might say we trust in God, but in our everyday lives, we're tempted to trust, serve, and worship the very money on which that slogan is printed.

So, where have you been placing your trust lately? What should be our primary objective with regards to our money and possessions? Does having more really equal more in terms of happiness or security? Is it wrong to be rich, to save, or to spend on myself? And would cutting my spending make a difference anyway?

Due to a pipe burst in the Worship Center women's restroom and subsequent repairs, worship services this Sunday, August 17, will be relocated to the gym. All other ministries will function as normal. Thanks for your understanding and flexibility!

This Week's Sermon: "Supernatural Healing"

God wants to use Christ-followers to bring supernatural healing… which, is kind of a crazy thought, isn’t it? The Bible teaches that, in Christ, we have access to a healing power that is literally out of this world. The problem is we don’t often see it this way. Instead, we tend to minimalize what God is doing – or wants to do – in the lives of those around us. And as a result, we can fail to join him in some amazing work.

This week, we finish our summer series in the book of James, “Faith Does”, to see how we can effectively join God in bringing supernatural healing to those around us.
