Choose to Cheat

Series: TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS

Steve Durand - Jan 26, 2014

For many, the word cheating has unpleasant connotations, whether it’s cheating on a spouse, in school, on income taxes, or even cheating in a game of cards.

In a certain sense, though, we’re all cheaters. With only 24 hours in the day, we simply can’t fit everything into our lives, so we “cheat.” We give up one thing in hopes of gaining something else of greater value. We say yes to some things while saying no to other things. The issue is never, “Am I cheating?” but rather, “Where or who am I cheating?”

Have you ever cheated your spouse, your kids, God, or something else important for the sake of work? If so, you’re not alone. This week’s message is about regaining balance and discovering how to work and live in accordance with God’s priorities for your life.
