When was the last time you thought about adoption? Perhaps it was when you recently came across an inspiring adoption story on television. Or maybe it was the time when someone close to you – a coworker, a relative, or a friend – decided to look into the possibility of adopting. Either way, though, it’s probably safe to say that, of all the subjects that run through our minds in a given day, adoption is not typically near the top of the list. Maybe that is because adoption stories always seem to be somebody else’s story. But what if adoption is more than that? What if adoption was part of your story?
