There are certain people in life you don’t want to hear say “Oops!” The person who cuts your hair, your mechanic, and your surgeon come to mind. Another is your parents. None of us wants “Oops” to sum up the influence we’ve had on the lives of our kids.

The bad news is that those “ten easy steps to rearing perfect kids” that we all want just don’t exist. The good news, however, is that with a little effort and a solid game plan, you can give kids what they need to build a solid framework for lifelong faith. What is that game plan? How can we move beyond accidental parenting to intentional parenting? That’s the focus of this week’s message.
