Expecting God to show up - Acts 1-2

Perfectly One

We don’t like being told we can’t do something, especially in this area where there are more than the average number of high achievers. We like pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps, making something of ourselves, and patting ourselves on the back when it’s all said and done.

But Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Spirit to arrive before they tried to do anything. He didn’t even want them to attempt to go out into the world until God’s Spirit came to do the work for them.

In this message, we’ll see that we have the same, if not a greater need, for God’s supernatural intervention in our lives.

This Week's Sermon: "We Are Family"

This past week we as a church family wrapped up our Perfectly One 40-day focus on church unity. Now it’s time to celebrate and reflect on the good work God is doing among us.

This Sunday morning we’re planning to join together at 10am, as God’s family, and party!

We at Bridges Community Church have a lot of reasons why a celebration is in order, beginning with the fact that we are family. We’re members of God’s forever family. A family that we were adopted into by God Himself. A family that is open to all who are willing to come through Jesus. So let’s celebrate!
