Finding joy and unity in humility - Mark 10:35-45

We are taught that civilizations advanced through the survival of the fittest principle. The strong and talented rise to the top and crush all competitors. But Jesus taught a different way. He taught we are to be humble, counting others as more significant than ourselves.

While we might push against that out of fear of losing the best for ourselves, the reality is the opposite. Only by embracing humility will we find unity with other believers and joy for ourselves.

This Week's Sermon: "We Are Family"

This past week we as a church family wrapped up our Perfectly One 40-day focus on church unity. Now it’s time to celebrate and reflect on the good work God is doing among us.

This Sunday morning we’re planning to join together at 10am, as God’s family, and party!

We at Bridges Community Church have a lot of reasons why a celebration is in order, beginning with the fact that we are family. We’re members of God’s forever family. A family that we were adopted into by God Himself. A family that is open to all who are willing to come through Jesus. So let’s celebrate!
