There are times when we long for the compassion and tenderness of God. Then there are other times we hope that God will rise up and fight, particularly if we have been wronged in some way. The God we find in Scripture both forgives the worst offenders and treats even minor discretions with severity. He\'s complex to say the least. But what we will see this week is that the God who refuses to be put into any box is exactly the God we need.
