In over our heads. Overwhelmed. Buried. This isn’t the usual description of a miracle, but in the story of Jonah, it’s exactly what we see. So perhaps in our lives, when we’re surrounded by darkness and despair clouds out all light, God might still be present. Perhaps, like Jonah, we’re living in the epicenter of the miraculous.
